The ADAC Formula 4 weekend at the Red Bull Ring was another major milestone in the career of 17 year old Marcel Lenerz. Three special days for Marcel: Oschersleben hosted the debut weekend of the new ADAC Formula 4 series, and the 17-year-old was in the thick of it. After a learning year in Formula Renault 1.6 NEC, Marcel is now keen to make an impression in Formula racing and has already had some measure of success. Marcel used his experience to good advantage in a keenly fought race contested by a large field of 35 young drivers.
New challenge for Marcel Lenerz: The 17-year-old is contesting the 2015 ADAC Formula 4 season as a member of the Lechner Racing squad. Assen, 03.08.2014: The Gamma Racing Days this year were also the expected crowd puller at Assen, Netherlands. As many as 80,000 spectators watched the motor sports spectacle on the challenging bike course and beside the main actors were also the youngsters of the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC in the focus of the visiting race fans and journalists.
Spa-Francorchamps 01/06/2014: Formula racing newcomer Marcel Lenerz drove with an excellent fifth place in the race at Spa-Francorchamps already at the second event of the season of international occupied Formula Renault 1.6 NEC in nearby podium.
